Alice and the Garden Snail

An example of decorative painting using acrylics on ceramic.This composition was inspired by Alice in Wonderland and depicts Alice riding out of the garden on an enormous snail. She clutches a bottle marked “drink me” in anticipation of metamorphosis. The bowl is framed by spirals which mimic the snail's spiral shell. Designer bowl by Robin Spears, produced by Justice Design Group, measures 20 inches in diameter.
