Alice and the Caterpillar

Inspired by Alice in Wonderland. An except of Alice's conversation with the Caterpillar is decoupaged onto the the wood panel which has been stained blue and painted with acrylics and metallic accents. There is a Cheshire Cat sun, and the Caterpillar has become a harlequin butterfly. This painting pays tribute to the memory of a dear soul with a beautiful mind who has gone on to the next world.
